IITs and IIMs to be set up in Every State

In a recent address to the joint session of both Houses of Parliament, President Pranab Mukherjee, Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Management (IIM), Indian Institute of strengthening and dissemination of high quality in order to be established in every state of India education throughout the country.


A national policy on education research in Indian educational institutions and will focus on fostering innovation, which will be ready for it, the President is a national e-library also empower teachers and students of the school in order to be introduced, he said. h

"It (the government) the quality of our educational institutions, research and innovation in order to meet the challenges posed by the lack of a national education policy will," the president said.

Currently, 16 Indian Institutes of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT), one each, Mumbai, Mandi (Himachal Pradesh), Delhi, Indore, Kharagpur, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Madras, Gandhinagar, Patna, Roorkee, Ropar (Punjab), are Varanasi if (Banaras Hindu University), Hyderabad and Guwahati.
And, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode (Kerala), Shillong, Rohtak (Haryana), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Ranchi, Tiruchirapalli (Tamil Nadu there are 13 in total), Kashipur (Uttarakhand ) and Udaipur.

The President, to be brought into India in addition to other educational reforms, massive open online courses and virtual classrooms is established.
