7,164 More Engineering Seats Added By Gujarat

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to increase the intake capacity of colleges approved Gujarat now, technical colleges spread across the state will see more seats added to the 7164.  The total number of seats in engineering colleges 70,105 and this figure rose to become one of six new colleges approved by AICTE covers 1,800 new seats.


Three in Ahmedabad, and Rajkot, Vallabh Vidya and every one of Navsari, 1800 came to offer more seats - 6 new colleges to increase intake capacity before, but there were a total of 62 951 engineering seats.

According to officials, some of these new colleges would receive approval to offer diploma courses.

The letter of intent for six new colleges already have now only to be finally approved by the body, has been issued by the AICTE.

Officials in the State at roughly 70,000 seats in the Middle, enter only 63,000 students which further candidates only 69741 will be eligible for the outside, got approval from Gujarat Board exams. Candidates, civil, mechanical, electrical and computer, as most of the branches are applicable.  This year it will go untaken seats around 12,000 funny and according to officials as those who are interested to apply for students or good infrastructure are located in remote areas or those who are will be expectation low branches. Last year's figure of 9,000 empty seats.
