Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on June 7, 2014 All India Pre-Medical / Pre - Dental Test (AIPMT) 2014 has declared the result. AIPMT 2014 . 929 test centers in 50 cities on May 4, 2014 was conducted on a total of 523 701 candidates appeared, including abroad.
On the basis of AIPMT 2014 result, the CBSE will prepare merit list of the successful candidates to ensure admission to the 15 % All India Quota Seats in the Government Medical/Dental Colleges of India excluding Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir for the academic session 2014-15.
A total of 46,271 candidates and candidates MCI eligibility criteria prescribed by the Dental Council of India Medical / Dental colleges for counseling for admission is testable, appeared. 18,115 candidates, 15% of male candidates for the 9716 and 8399 numbers of female candidates, which is an all-India quota seats.
The State Government / Universities / Institutions seats under their control against the medical colleges / dental colleges use merit list for admission in AIPMT.
